No. Virginia Knife Shops?

Ok. Where in NoVa can I guy find good deals on knifes at? Tactical Folders, no custom stuff. Locations if you know’em. Thanks.
Also, Beef Jerky? I just love good Jerky!

Most of the malls in No. Va. have a Chesapeake Knife and Tool store. They have a pretty good selection, but don't know whether they are a good deal. Not sure about jerky. Try Giant.

Chesapeake's stuff is cheap imported crap for the most part, last time I checked.

Go to one of the gun stores like Virginia Arms in Manassas or Loudoun Guns in Leesburg if you want decent quality. Or order online.

There is a knife show in Harrisonburg this weekend. I haven't been to it before but am going to try to go this Saturday.

Ol Badger - if they still have the knife store in the upper level of Ballston Common Mall check them out every month or so, but especially right after Christmas/New Years. I got a SOG Government Model there a few years ago at about wholesale $$ in late January, 'cause they'd got it in for Christmas but none of the yuppies had bought it. That's the best deal I've gotten there, but if you just keep watching they sometimes get other stuff at that sort of discount as well - it's always stuff the yuppie/suv/suburbanite set don't feel like buying. Only reason I'm telling is because I am NEVER going back to that area again if I can help it.

As far as jerky goes - the best (but not cheapest) I found was sold by a biker/vet who had a table at the gunshows outside the beltway. All the stuff inside the belljar is based on the concept of yuppie foodstamps.

[note to those who don't recognize the term: "yuppie foodstamps" is, or at least was a slang expression for 20 dollar bills. Most of the ATMs in NOVA only give 20 dollar bills, get it?]

Chesapeke blows. Too little "good" knives and too expensive as well.

The Harrisonburg show was decent. Lots of custom dealers I don't normally see at the big East Coast show in Baltimore each winter.

Gunshows are your best bet for a wide selection of tac knives. You can find Emersons, Microtechs, plenty of Benchmades, etc. Chesapeke won't have any Emersons and only the Microtechs and Bechmades that are currently popular.

I buy most of mine online after checking them out via Bladeforums.
