Why don't you guys make an off-topic discussion board? I'd really like that. Calguns.net (http://www.calguns.net/6/ubb.x?a=cfrm&s=888602736) has one.

Diverts our time away from the primary mission. We discussed this before, reluctantly decided against it.

There are forums as good as this one, that have a General forum.

www.Gun-Talk.com
www.GlockTalk.com
www.familyfriendsfirearms.com

Take your pick.:)

No Off-Topic. No no no no no no!

I left the last board I was on due to the O/T forum. People soon forget why the site was created in the first place. Then, more and more people start having "fun" in the O/T section. What happens then? Bandwidth usage goes way up. When bandwidth goes up, the ISP charges more $$. Who's going to pay for that? I know I don't want to take advantage of Oleg's wallet so I can post a thread on "Do you like the blue M&Ms?" crap.

That last board I was on, the O/T forum was the 2nd most posted forum containing about 1/3 of all the posts. (If not more) The reason I like this place so much is that it stays ON topic. Sure, a smarty-pants comment here and there is fun, but we don't need to have a dedicated section for it.

Just my $0.02.
