I am just curious if the magzines for the different Ruger P series pistols are interchangable specifically the 9mm. I have a P95 but have an oppurtunity to get some magazines for a P89 and wanted to know if they would work. I do know that the P90 and P97 in .45ACP in interchangable.

Yes, P89 mags work in a P95. I have a few and no problems.

I believe that Ruger uses the same mag for all its 9mm guns.

The P89 and P95 9mm magazines will also both work in the Ruger 9mm carbine.

Does the mag for the P89 fit flush in the P95?

P89 mags will work in a P95 and so will 2nd gen p85 mags. You can also use 40 S&W mags.
