I agree. A sidenote, but I would be more comfortable getting an IWB holster that covered the trigger. Depends on what you prefer.

Trigger coverage is a non-issue on an IWB revolver holster.

The cylinder can't turn if it's clamped down in a holster inside your pants.

And if the cylinder can't turn, you can't pull the trigger or cock the gun.

I would buy new semi custom or custom holsters for that M66. Those are not fitting for such an eligent firearm. Even though rcmodel is correct I still would cover the trigger. If for no other reason then that when you draw your finger will not be on the trigger right off the bat. It tends to train the "bugger hook" to ride along side the frame during the draw...

Not talking out of my *** as I carry a m19 2 1/2" IWB...

I think I might know the reason you have a RH and a LH IWB holster for the same revolver. Depending upon whether you are RH or LH, one is for strong side carry and the other might be for "small-of-the-back carry.

Smaller gun. I have switched to my summer carry and have cleaned my Mod 19 and will be putting in the safe until winter or range day, which ever comes first...By the way...I carry that revolver in a IWB holster at 2:00. Much more comfortable.
