Thanks! I am not a pro.

I took the pic with my compact digital camera (Olympus 5050), using a tripod and long exposure time. The lighting was a 500w bulb, plus and a flashlight, and a leather shirt as a backdrop...

That is indeed a very lovely pic ...... you got the lighting and exposure spot on ...... it would grace the cover of a gun mag very well.

Used to have and shoot one of these ...... but by time I had used it to death, it no longer looked quite like yours!!:p

Thanks a lot...I've been trying to save up for more C&R rifles but now you got me wanting that pistol again. I keep putting it off because I don't see one with the flutes like you have, But now I'm gonna have to look again. Where did you get that one?

I got this and a few other Uberti replicas (like their Paterson and Walker model) from the local dealer... He thinks he got this fluted model only by mistake, because the italians send all these to the US. :)

The blue finish is fantastic.
