Here's my list.. not in any particular order

1. What to wear....particulary the mysterious garb to cover the holster and mags.. I bought the Smith and Alexander one.. Is anyone selling something more.. well... harley davidson like..??.. Can we make our own??

2. holsters, mag pouches and such.. Who's making them.. what is the most popular.. and so on.

3. I'd like to see a blow by blow description of an expert going through a stage.. how far back from the wall was he when he sliced the pie.. why did he change mags here.. what are his rules of thumb for engaging steel, shooting through holes in the wall.. stuff like that.

4. Information on classifiers....

5. Guns, guns, guns.. of course.

6. Reloading for IDPA.... 147 gr or 124 gr or 115 gr for 9mm.. which is best.. .. The lee Factory crimp and your case bulge,........and stuff like that

7. Factory ammo for IDPA.. best deals in town on 9mm... stuff like that

8. Safety.. how to do it everyday...

9. Ear protection..

10. Eye protection...

11. Full color pictures and articles of yours truly winning IDPA Matches.... That hasn't happend yet.. but if it ever does I would hope that the Tactical Journal would be there to cover it in detail :D

I'm interested in IDPA and just recently went to an organizational meeting in my hometown. It is one of only two IDPA organizations in Washington State from what I understand. Anyway, articles for beginners would be very helpful.

1. Equipment suggestions from experienced shooters. Things they bought they really liked vs. things that were a waste of $

2. Comparison of the different classes and the guns most commonly used - SSP, ESP, CDP and SSR. I know some people who shoot IDPA that do not even carry a gun - they shoot it for fun and to compete. What guns are people using and why?

3. This goes with #1 - but holsters....Which ones???

4. Reloading information

5. Gun reviews - if you are buying specifically for IDPA for a particular class - which guns are doing well in each class. To a certain extent it is the shooter and not the gun, but each class seems to have similar guns in the top positions when I look at stats across the country. (ex. Glock 17, 34, for SSP)

6. Tips for improving speed and accuracy. Holster setup, clothing for cover that doesn't interfere with draw.

You sure you wouldn’t rather talk to a master class shooter instead. ;)

Agree with previous posts. "How To" articles and equipment reviews are always great...especially for beginners.

Course designs are also great topics.

The main thing I would like to see in the T.J. would be an announcement that a new rule book was on the way. The present LGB is hard enough to get around in but the pronouncements from on high and the e-mail interpretations with the force of law but not circulated to the entire membership are just ridiculous. Price of the current issue's slick paper and color would have gone a long way in that direction.

Good suggestions all.
