I know you're on vacation/ quest, but you did manage to check in when you 1st arrived. What happened? Are you locked up in a Korean jail cell for trying to entice female SWAT sniper w/ American citizenship and the lure of turkey SPAM? Are you on some super secret tactical Skunkabilly mission?

Skunk went to Japan for a week, then he'll be flying home, I understand. Look for him on or shortly after New Year - he'll be so full of pent-up kimchee that he'll probably out-post everybody on the boards! (tactically, of course... :D )

I do believe (since I have Korean friends, and I LOVE it) that kimchee is korean, and not Japanese...

He called me on Sunday past and was heading to Japan on Wed. Said he'd check in after he got home and give us an update. Last post he had was when he tried to walk in on the Korean swat team range. Maybe he got ubducted? Or maybe it was the DMZ and not the range after all.

THe Skunkster checked in to say that he would be in Rural Japan and that he was having trouble finding internet access. He''l probably be back on line after he gets home.

HemiCuda, Skunk was in Koreehaw prior to hitting Japan. hence the Kimchee reference.

I bet him $20.00 he couldn't get a pic with that SWAT chick!

The last post I saw from the Skunkster, at the 1911 Forum, was from Japan and he was using someone else's Apple computer and he was having a he** of a time figuring out the key board. He never got into the SWAT facility, never found the cute Korean SWAT member, but did have a good time in the land of the Morning Calm.

Skunk mentioned one that time he was Chinese.
On his website he says something about having relatives in Hong Kong.;)

Yeah, Skunk is Chinese and his trip to Korea did not net him that Korean Swat Sniper gal he was looking for. Guess that's why they kept him out of their training compound. They didn't want to lose their best sniper to a foreigner. :D

Aren't those SF tinkertoys made in Orange County? Maybe Skunk could do an article for SWAT after he comes back?

Skunk is an American. In Skunks own words:

Chinese by design, Californian by birth, banjo picker by the grace of God!

Any questions?

Got ammo?

Go shooting.:D

blades67, your right. I totally forgot about that one.

Here's what I was referring to.

Someone said, " Buy my record or I'll shoot your dog." and Skunk's reply was....

Shoot? I'm Chinese. Replace shoot with another verb.

Yummy.....
;) ;)

I'M TACTICAL. I'M BACKTICAL!!!

Skunk mentioned one that time he was Chinese.
On his website he says something about having relatives in Hong Kong.

Chinese, Korean, Japanese...all look same! :D :D :D

I should have planned ahead. I didn't know I was going to Korea until a month before. I'll figure out a way in.

Our misplaced blue grass listening tactically correct Chinese hill-billy.

Man it drove me nuts. I haven't listened to bluegrass in 2 weeks. A Japanese supermarket was playing Dixie and some Korean's fancyschmancy cell phones played Oh Susanna and it really made me want to ring the suppressed night ops tactical banjo. I wanted to take home a Shamisen but couldn't find any traditional Japanese music stores.

I am toying with the idea of enlisting some Koreans and other Asians at church and making an Asian bluegrass album. Reehaw!

OH! Thanks guys, sounds like somebody you don't want to messwith.

:D

OK I just got back to Erray (LA) and I took about 230 pictures, I'll post 'em on my site after I take a shower. I took two showers twice in the last two weeks. They don't call me Skunk for nothing.

Skunk, sorry I missed your call on Tuesday. Was out finishing last minute Christmas shopping. Got in about 15 seconds after you called. Would of been cool to have gotten some pics of the Skunkster on the Warthog.

Nice to be back in the states huh?

Is that the remains of Bulgogi on the upper left corner (on the grill)?
