If while perusing The High Road and I see someone looking for a
particular item,is it "legal" to link to another forum, thread.Example:A fellow was looking for suppresor covers.
I suggested:http://www.roderuscustom.tzo.com/cgi-bin/ib3/ikonboard.cgi?s=3e4064f20734ffff;act=ST;f=7;t=391 .I don't want to violate anyones copyrights or
anything.Please advise.
Thanks,

No. All you are doing is pointing someone to that forum and specific message. To read it, the person must actually "go" to that forum and it then sends the info to his computer. He is not copying or distributing the information in violation of any copyright laws. Think of it as billboards along the highway pointing you to places of interest.

Not a problem. Even if someone posted a link to a secure or password protected site, it is up to the site to restrict entry.
