I recently picked up two used/refurbished CMP Daisy 853's. They are a great deal and I'm very pleased.

Nice! Looks a lot like my old Daisy Powerline 880 (but yours have nicer stocks, sights, and maybe less plastic in the action?). That pellet gun lasted me a long time.

Those M853s are nice target rifles and I've had one for years. I've been thinking of upgrading it to one of the M888s to try out a PCP gun.

Very nice. I have a cheap 953 and it shoots great.

I got my refurbed 853 from the CMP as well, but with the Monte Carlo stock. Shoots incredible with RWS Meisterkugeln pellets.

I'm thinking of getting a couple of Monte Carlo stocked ones next. I'm so pleased with both of my straight stocked ones.

Are these single stroke piston guns or pump-up like the old 880?
