Oleg, would you ever consider adding in a section for non-gun related talk? It breaks my heart to see so many topics get shut down because of the non-related feature. Just a question- thanks :-) It would be ironic if this post was shut down for not being related.

I think that would be nice also. Just a general talk section. Now to make this thread official.... I like guns.;)

Hey, Yohan! There already IS a non-gun related place:

GLOCK TALK

HeeHeeHeeHee "Hey, you! Put down that tupperware or I'll shoot!

Can't we all just get along?

Aaahh... But I suspect that I'm FAR more articulate at a keyboard than I am in person...

Oleg, I suppose that this is the sorta thing I was talking about - a place to debate the merits of woodland camo vs. realtree camo insofar as one's curtains go - Or, conversely, should one create a paneling effect with grenade crates or ammo crates - and then, ohmigawd, what caliber to use?

I beseech y'all to create Bogie's Bunker - a forum within a forum, dedicated to the furtherance of the THR lifestyle - tactical furniture, freedom-loving artwork, and tres kewl (dang, there goes that faux french again...) entertainment...

And I _still_ wanna know where I can buy a couple of large pieces of brass to make table lamps.

12.7x99mm - We *very rarely* ever delete or remove posts unless they clearly and blatantly break the rules of conduct. Sometimes, though, threads get locked for being Off Topic (OT). These posts remain on the boards, and therefore in the archive, but receive no more posts.

All - If Bogie (or any other member) would like to set up "Bogie's Bunker" and allow OT posts, that's his prerogative. We'll help out any way we can. :)

It just ain't gonna happen on THR. We've been through this discussion before and our answer isn't going to change. The staff is united on this issue. OT threads just aren't what we're about.

Here's an older thread on this same subject:

Look back over the archives of TFL. Consider what makes it such a quality resource.

Signal to noise.

Less noise, more signal.
