If so, does anyone know where?

Thanks,
Steve

Don't know where, but I can help. Yes, they do exist. One side will hold two rounds and the other will hold 5.

Is it the law that your clip can only hold 5?

If not, it's entirely possible to load two, or five, or any number up to eight with the standard clip and a little digital fidgiting.

sells combo 2- and 5- rd clips for M1. They work fine, I have a couple.

Are the two round clips supposed to latch in just like the eight rounds clips??? I have two, two round clips and while they do hold the rounds they don't seem to latch in and stay put when I take my thumb off like the eight rounds clips do. I've only been fooling around with them for less than a day.......maybe I'm doing someting wrong??

Yes, the two-round and five-round clips should latch in like a "normal" clip.

On loading two or five rounds using an eight-round clip, it's certainly possible, even easy to do. But I only do this for the first load in a shooting event, the reload is with a "real" five or eight-round clip, because it's faster.

When hunting, at least in MI, you can't do the above trick legally. The clip or mag cannot be capable of holding more than five rounds. You can't have an eight-round clip on you in the field. I make sure I don't have any larger clips or mags in the shooting box or the truck. I don't need the aggravation.

Regards.
