This is a very good article (http://www.gunowners.org/op0438.htm) on how armed blacks kept the Klan from terrorizing them.

There is a good movie by the name Deacons for Defense that you can see here. (http://www.netflix.com/MovieDisplay?trkid=73&movieid=60032680)

Why are not men like these in leadership positions of the black community?

Some of them are. Check out Ken Blanchard

But I agree with your larger point. I'd have to guess that a lot of it centers around the couple hundred years of the American experience with paternalism regarding slavery, and the nicety of the way that the poverty-pimp-leader lifestyle segued into it in the 1950's when we started getting serious about civil rights. Food stamps, section 8 housing and "Reverends" getting rich running DNC vote drives are a lot more in keeping with the KKK tradition than genuine equality for all.

Seems like a good guy. Though I don't go in for God stuff.

I wonder why he quit the feds.

And I agree with you on how the black "leadership" screws over the rank n' file.
