I have a Witness Carry .45 (full size grip, 4.25 inch barrel, and novak type sights).

Does anyone know what the normal magazine capacity will be after Sept. 14? It's 10 now, are they able to hold more?

It appears to be 10. So, no love post ban unless they make extended magazines.

Here's where I found your answer: http://www.tanfoglio.it/technical_features.htm

Yah, they get away from the Glock fat grip or excessive butt length issues by staggering the rounds not as sharply and limiting the magazine capcity to 10 rounds only.

Thanks for the info, I sure would have thought that there should be room for a few extra rounds in that mag, but evidently not!

I do believe there are aftermarket bases that allow the 10 round mag (standard) to add a couple more rounds. I think they were mostly used in competiton matches???? I vaguely recall this from a post I read a long time ago on the CZ Forum. You may want to check out www.czforum.com in the Clone section to ask the question too. Good luck and I only sold my .45 Witness Full Size to fund another gun purchase. Mine was 100%. Mike

Kar-el, I too have a witness .45 and would be interested if you find an outlet for larger cap mags. Let us know what you find out.
