It's still sitting in the case & they're still asking $600. I've wanted a blue one, but this does have a certain coolness to it, especially in its case....
Suggestions??? Or should I just keep waiting?
Should I be as concerned as I am re: the nickle?

I collect nickel Smiths and that seems a bit high to me. Nickel N frames are very nice though.

I would make them an offer on it if you want it.$600 Is high even in the Prk I usually see them going for about $500-$550. Nothing wrong with Nickel just dont use an Ammonia based solvent to clean it . Just check the Nickel finish to see if its flaking if not your good to go.:)

Nickel is about as good as it gets.

So maybe if I offer $500 and see if that gets me anywhere, huh? Okay, next time I'm in, I'll give it a shot.

Should I be as concerned as I am re: the nickle? Nope, just take reasonable care of it and it'll last (outlast?) it's blued counterpart.
OBTW, you mention it's "case". Would that be the wooden presentation case? If so, then $600.00 isn't all that unreasonable providing all the accessories (screwdriver, brush, mop etc) are also included and unused.

I did see the case & I was told it comes w/ "all the accessories" it originally came with. Hopefully I'll have time today to do some haggling.
