Dating an Arisaka

Does anyone know how to semi-accurately date a T-38 Arisaka?

Can't do that ,as the gun is 500 miles away. But, from this site: http://www.radix.net/~bbrown/japanese_markings.html, I have determined that it has no series, and is in the 950000 range. Here are some other pics, though:
