It all started with an innocent acquisition of a Mosin Nagant 91/30. I didn't know what I was getting into. No one warned me. No one said, hey, be careful. Then I bought a Ruger M77 International .308 rifle. That Mannlicher stock. The Mauser style action. Then the other day I saw a CZ 527. Now I have it, too. Mauser style action. Bavarian style stock. Set trigger. And not to hard on the old pocketbook, either. I'm finding bolt actions are my favorite action of all. Just something about them. I like my bolt actions to have iron sights, too. Just seems kind of chintzy of some makers not to put a set of iron sights on a rifle. I like shooting with iron sights a lot.
It's hopeless. I'm addicted to bolt actions. If you know of any good bolt actions with iron sights, be sure and list them here so I can check them out.

DON'T EVER BUY A MAUSER 98! They are all bolt actions, iron sights and there are a gazillion variants, all calibers, all lengths, good history, crappy to amazing workmanship, worn-out-beat-to-death all the way to new/unissured! DON't DO IT!!!!

I like em w/ irons, too. The CZ bolt guns are seriously nice and seriously good value compared to other commercial stuff on the market now, imho.

Sir, to quote an un-named former president "I feel your pain!" I have a couple of VZ-24's, a Yugo model 48A, a Yugo K98 refurb, a couple of Steyr 12/61's (in 7.62 Nato), a Belgian 1952 M98 in 30-06, AND a .270, a 25-06 and two .35 whelens-all on M98 Mauser actions. Do we see a pattern developing here? Remember, they are addicting. Be afraid-be very afraid! 12 step programs do not help!

They are super-slick and reliable...even if they're covered in mud
(don't ask me how I know)...the "AK" of bolt actions:)

The Yugo 48 and 48-As that are selling right now are a great buy. You can get a near perfect all matching example for under $100.00. get one (or two or three) before the supply dries up.

Tammara is right; a Swede is an excellent addition to a collection. I have a Yugo M48A Mauser and am pleased with it. Makes a lot of noise, ammo is cheap, and shoots pretty good.
