I've got to second that Riddle is one of the best experiences for serious students of knife fighting. I've had several friends come back from the old Riddle of Steel events and show me things that were very impressive.
To say the least I was always very unhappy that one thing or the other had kept me from going. This year, possibly the last for a long time, should be different.
The cost isn't bad when you consider that you'd pay $1200 for a week at some all inclusive resort with nothing more to show for it than a sunburn and sand in your tuchis while this all inclusive "resort" will let you take away outdoor adventures more exciting than the crabs you'd get at the beach (of whatever type) and skills more useful than the lambada class would ever provide.
I'm going to pony up the deposit and try to make my schedule fit this in.

Always trained with Jim at the Riddle of Steel South in LR, Ark. or New Orleans but will be making the attempt to do the possible last Riddle on the river.
It's not just a training session, it's an adventure.
Yes, with Jim at the helm, you learn through doing the good doo-doo.
Anyone who attends can't help but come away with skills sets that set you apart from the "crowd" where bladewares are concerned.
Highly enlightening to say the least.
