When this ban is over, what exactly does this mean for us? What was illegal, but is now legal? Thanks for spelling it out for me guys, Im not really up on this ban.

Flash hiders, bayonet lugs, collapsible stocks, and magazine greater than 10 rounds will be available.

Thats really about it.

As far as guns are concerned, everything has always remained available, in one form or another, just with fewer goodies attached.

Could you put a flash hider, collapsable stock and 30 rounder on a post ban rifle, after the sunset, or do the rifles have to be bought whole? Thanks.

Come monday there will be no such thing as pre and post '94 rifles. You can strap as many goodies as you want to either rifle.

I bought a folding stock for my mini 14 a month or so before the ban went into effect. It has set in its box for 10 yrs.

Tuesday its coming out.

I would love to have a factory folder, but something tells me Ruger isn't going to be letting common civilians by them.

As on Monday you can also have semi-auto shotguns with more evil features, and really heavy (>50oz) semi-auto pistols.

Warning - no additions to imported rifles that do not have the 10 compliance US made parts. This is under a differant law entirely, so make sure your WASR10 has the US parts before modifying. Or, just buy the cheap WASR10 Hicap....
I want to see the Sidewinder shotgun modification with a 20 round drum on a Remington 1100....

Hmmm, 10 US made parts...

1. US made flash hidder
2. US made bayonet lug
3. US made folding stock
4. US made hi cap mag
5. US made scope
6. US made scope mount
7. US made bipod
8. US made bayonet
9. US made accessory rail
10. US made lazor for that rail...

I too am wondering just what exactly this means for us . I posted the questions below on the general discussion before I saw this thread . Just exactly what does the ban cover ?? Ok so I know we can now have flash hiders and bayo's on AR's. And they can now make larger capacity mags , but what about other stuff ?? Can I put a folding stock ,bayo and hi cap mag on my SKS now ?? How about a mini 14? The STG58 parts kit I built ,can I now put on the original flash hider ? What about all the US parts required on these builds ? How does this affect my home built 1919 can I put a flash hider and bayo on it ? hahaha Why is it I was required to put 7 US parts on the FAL but not on the 1919 , both were imports??? The legal maze we gun owners must sort through now days is incredible .

Does this mean I can finally build an ar15 pistol? As in style Olympic Arms marketed before the ban. Short buffer would be acceptable as long as I can have 7.5" barrel with forward hand grip.

one other thing will happen

Named guns like the AR15 will no longer need to be named Sporter, E2S15 or M-15

Yes, build all the huge, ballistically inferior semi-auto pistols that you want. :D Remember that it has to be built from a stripped receiver. If it was ever a rifle it can't be turned back into a pistol.

Does it also cover the heavy ($200) tax on flash supressors or silencers? Will those become cheaper?

Flash suppressors have no tax. Sound suppressors have a $200 tax, which is part of the 1934 NFA, and is not affected by the AWB expiration.

4. US made hi cap mag Magazines count as three or four parts. The spring, follower, base plate, and body. I am not sure if things like lazers count or not.
