I have the opportunity to purchase a Sig 226 with 3 pre-ban magazines. The gun is used, has some holster wear but appears to be in good shape. I have not test fired the pistol. Was wondering what the going rate for this pistol and mags would be.

Prices tend to vary lots by region/state. Here in SC we have a gunshop that gets police trade-ins frequently. They have some 226s in stock (used) for about $350 with magazines.

Thanks. This was a policeman's gun. Not a trade in, this would be an individual to individual sale. He's wanting $550 for the gun and 1 mag or $650 for the gun and 3 mags.

In CA, that $650 is a good deal for P226 w/ 3 hi cap mags. Oh, ae the mags LE Only?

Figure the mags at 75.00 each, gives you the 226 for 425.00. Lack of a 4473 is worth something as well.
