Why does it say not to use any ammo but .22lr? No shorts, no longs, nothing but .22lr.... it seems strange to me that you wouldn't be able to fire shorts or longs, seeing as it is a single shot.

Does anyone have insight as to why they say not to fire anything else?

Alright, I guess I'll e-mail or call Rossi.. I hope their support isn't as bad as rumored.

Might be the same issues as .38Spl in .357Mag, .44Spl in .44Mag. i.e. The chamber crud build-up because of shorter rounds thing.

That would be my non-scientific Wild-@$$-Guess.

If that's all it is, why in the world do they say using any ammo but .22lr voids the warantee? I can't wait to hear back from them...
