For those of you that carry Surefires or any other lithium powered lights in addition to your CCW, duty, sporting or self defense weapon, I thought you would want to know that Surefire is having a battery sale directly from their web site. something like 12 batterys for 15.00, or 6 boxes for 90.00

Holy Cow! A $100 flashlight!?! I'd heard of these, but never actually looked at 'em before. I kept hoping those prices were in pesos! Yikes. and $600+ for a laser sight? I could better afford to hire someone to aim for me.

That 100 dollar flashlight is bar none the best little flashlight you'll ever own. I like Surefires so much I have 4 of them. All 6P variants. :)

Shadow 1: Thanks for the update

45R, not a prob, I know I am always looking for a deal to stock up on them puppies, we (wifey and me) own 2 E2s, 1 E2E w/ TID attachment, 2 G2s with blue filters, these are nightstand flashlights, 2 6Ps so batteries are always on hand and stocked up when it's good time to do so.

If you haven't looked at them, the E2es are excellent lights.

A $100 flashlight! No Way!

And after I just paid $250 for my M6! :) :)

BTW I agree - the new E2E hard anodized may be the best flashlight I've ever owned (and I own a few).

shadow 1: Thanks for a great tip. I own four of their lights, and they are top quality all the way. I called them to place an order, and the girl on the phone asked me if I saw the ad on their website (said they've been getting so many orders, they had to begin making more to fill the demand). I told her nope, The High Road. :D
Now I'm in line for a backorder, which is ok since I have a good supply. geegee

Just so y'all know. This is not a sale price from Surefire. They have dropped the price to $1.25 on a permanent basis.

After the previous thread about these batteries I immediately placed my order. They were in my hands within three days. Great service.

Anyone who thinks these flashlights are overpriced either doesn't use a flashlight much, or has simply never tried a Surefire. I spent years wishing I had a good flashlight. I was tired of flashlights that broke, I was tired of flashlights with weak yellow beams, I was tired of flashlights with big dark spots in their beam, I was tired of flashlights with unreliable switches, I was tired of flashlights that easily turned on so that when I went to use them they were dead. I reluctently forked over the money for a Maglight and most of these problems went away. I ended up buying a half dozen of them for work, for the car, for the house. A couple years ago, I had heard of Surefire, but had never seen one and thought they were too expensive. Then I ran across a guy that actually owned one, one dark night. I had my two cell mag light and realized that this guy had a light that was a fourth the size and was twice as bright. Instead of trying to figure out how I was going to carry my big two D cell flashlight, I saw a light I could easily stick in my pocket. Instead of trying to overcome the sterotype that I was going to hit someone in the head with my flashlight, I could carry a much smaller flashlgiht that did a better job and was less intimidating. I have never looked back. Instead of worrying about how much it cost, I ended up with a couple of them. After getting my first one, I used it for awhile and then had a problem with it. I called Surefire and suggested that it had a bad switch. The woman on the phone said, no way. It is a million to one that that switch is bad. She didn't come off as being obnoxious, she honestly believed that there was no way there was anything wrong with the light. She was totally confident in their quality control. She was right, it was operator error.

Waiting on my 2 boxes now. Surefire said they were backordered about a week. :(
As for the flashlights, they are tops. I own 2 and WILL have more in the near future.
I also own a Streamlight Scorpion and love it too.
