I got a couple of college friends to go with me to the range. One had never fired a gun and the other had a little experience. The weather was very nice and all went well except for a couple .22lr primer failures.

Um. . . . that's only one picture.

It's a really neat loading-a-magazine picture, though. Maybe the best I've seen all day.

Hmmm . . . . I stand corrected.

Would you like a normal stock for that WASR? I have one that could be yours for whatever the shipping turns out to be.

I think I'm satisfied with the stock as is, and thanks for the offer. I'm curious as to whether your inquiry is related to asthetics or comfort?

Gotta be aesthetics. No offense, but the only thing uglier than a butthole stock is a mangled butthole stock.

Just aesthetics on my part, as I've never shot the thumbhole stock. :) Could be ergonomics, too, but I wouldn't know.

That stock is the reason I didn't buy a WASR. Wasnt about to spend $150 more for the pistol grip.

My question: Are those stock easily interchangable? If they are, I may still have to pick one up.

Yes, they are easily interchangeable.

Step 1: Take off old stock.

Step 2: Put on new stock.

:)
