I'm not into comps, haven't used the comp on my 627 except for informational purposes. However, that is one sweet looking revolver...

I'm the wrong person to ask if you are looking for someone to discourage you. Of all the guns on the Performance Center website, this is the one that I'd want the most. Better get it while the gettings good; I know I'd get it in a heartbeat.

I'm really more of an auto shooter, but this gun sure is one sweet revolver. It even comes with both pair of grips shown. I just may have to go see it again tomorrow................

I have one from the original run about 8 years ago(?). Then it was $795 from Lew Horton. Most of the ones I have seen lately have been in the $600-700 range. For $550 I would consider it a very good deal. Oh, and by the way, mine has the finest action of any revolver I have.

My 625 Comp Performance Center is the one I shoot the most. It is a little different than the 357 your looking at, However, you will enjoy the action job S&W PC puts on it. I can't think of a reason not to buy it... Unless cashless...
However, if I was inclined... I would buy it... Enjoy:D

Does it come with the Performance Center metal gun box? If so, YES!
If not, YES!
I have a PC 681 (7-shot .357 Magnum) and find it to be one sweet-shooting gun.
Did I say YES!?
If not, then YES!

Craigz,
Looks like you got into my gun safe.... I'm in 100% agreement. I shoot mine in IDPA. It's fun and no fuss'n with the speed loaders. Mine likes 200 grn SWC or RN ahead of Unique 5.1 grns. They are hard to find but worth the search..... Enjoy:D

No I haven't got it yet. A fairly large job we were just about to start got postponed, so I have decided to hold off for a while and see how my luck is running.
