I have been looking for a lever action 44 Mag rifle and saw the Henry Big Boy. How are these rifles? I love the looks of it but was wondering if they are a good quality rifle or is there another like this that is better recommended.

Thanks in advance!

I've handled and fired one, and wasn't impressed. It felt "flimsy" - no other way to put it. I own a Marlin 1894C in that caliber, and have fired a Winchester Trapper in it too, and both felt a lot stronger and "handier" than the BB.

FYI
The BB is not approved for use by SASS for shoots,in case this was what you had in mind.
also,FYI,the SASS headhonchos just bouth a ranch in AZ to be the center of shooting operations and home to End of Trail, the mother of all cowboy shoots. In a town called Moriarity ,IIRC.
