My folks, 3 months late, sent me my birthday present. It was a check for $150 to buy some binos. I'm willing to pony up a little of my own money, but I don't have a whole lot to add to that. What are the best binos I can get for something in the $100-250 range. Mostly I'm looking for 10x50 or thereabouts, and they will mostly be used for glassing while deer hunting.

I'm a big fan of Steiners
They're heavy duty with good, bright optics 10x50's will weigh a lot for hunting, if you're doing it on foot plus they can be kind of cumbersome and in the way.
I use Steiner 8x30 Predators in the field, though I also have 10x50 Night Hunters if I'm not on foot
Yu can get Steiner Military Marine 10x50 for about $225 8x30 Predators for about $200
Check Bear Basin Outfitters for good deals on optics plus they really know their stuff.
Good luck with whatever you choose
