Cooler than 5.11, for sure, Skunk!

I just got the Dillon catalog and noted, with interest, the ScotteVest-Jacket that they were touting as better than the 5.11 vest. I was curious, so I did some websurfing and came up with their website, where I found that they offer far more than just a jacket. Very cool website and I think the gear could really pan out for those of us that don't want a "manpurse".

How Skunk missed out on this techie/tactical gear is a mystery to me.

I'm ordering the fleece, for now, and will report back when I've seen the quality firsthand.

I saw these vest profiled on a traveler's gadget gear. The one that showed had like 42 different pockets hidden in it. The guy was actually carrying a laptop computer in the back of this. It peaked my curiosity to say the least.

I'm not a big fan of pockets on jackets, vests, etc. Prefer to carry on belt.

When your jacket is gone, all your neato gear is in your jacket inside your pack where you can't get to it....

(sold my 5.11 vest long long ago)

Only gear I carry above my waist is a pen and notepad.
