Are there any self defense courses being taught in the MD/DC/VA area for folding knives? Since I carry one nearly everywhere I go, I believe it is my responsibility to know how to use it.
Also, what would people recommend for a folding knife? Right now I carry a S&W that has seriously let me down (the blade is crap), and I want to snag a replacement for my birthday. I'm thinking a Spyderco Police model (it's a great fit in my oversized hands), but I want to know your thoughts.
Also, assuming I carried pepper spray, what brand and size canister would you recommend?
