How long should Tru-Dot night sights last under normal conditions?

Not sure. Had a set on my H&K USP 9C. They were very fragile. One bump and you would gouge the metal of the sight. Didn't like them.

they should remain fairly bright for about 10-12 years. thats somewhere near the half-life of tritium. they'll start to fade after that. the orange and yellow ones don't last as long for some reason. Mepro and Trijicon have shorter warranty periods for the orange and yellow ones.
