The Gun Owners Action League (GOAL) of MA puts on a great class called The Art of Concealed Carry in MA. I attended this class the other night and if you live in MA I highly recommend it. If you are a GOAL member (which you should be) the cost is only $40.00 and the class is 4 hours long. The class is led by Attorney Darius Arbabi and GOAL's training director Jon Green. The class is pretty evenly divided between legal aspects and practical carry concerns. A lot of time is spent on less then lethal options. There was also some great role playing scenarios where we got to act out different situations and then be critiqued by the group. Very educational and great fun also. We also got to ask a lot of questions about law and liability as it directly relates to us here in MA. They also had examples of about every holster and carry method evailable and we got to play with the stuff and try it on. I have attended shooting type classes dealing with combat handgun etc., but this one covered all the stuff that fell through the cracks of other classes. The GOAL site is www.goal.org. If you live in MA you should check this out.
