I think I know the answer to this question but still wanted to pose it. Know that the AWB has sunsetted is it legal to change the fixed stock on a "post ban" purchased AR? I think the answer is yes, there is nolonger pre and post ban rifles just rifles but I wanted to pose it to the learned massess of THR.

You are correct. The terms "pre-ban" and "post-ban" no longer have any meaning, so yes, you can put a collapsible stock on that AR, or convert a fixed carbine type stock to actually collapse. (I don't know if that can be done, but it is legal to do it.)
