I am looking for recommendations for a good double magazine pouch that will fit the following criteria:

1) It must fit on a regular surplus pistol belt, preferably with ALICE clips.

2) It must be big enough for me to use Glock 21 magazines, i.e. double stack .45.Regular 9mm pouches need not apply.

3) It must be canvas or nylon, and of sturdy construction.

4) I would prefer snap closures or the like, but Velcro will work.

What I am also looking for is firsthand experience with various products. I want to know how well they hold up.

I have used their products for years and have found them to be both reliable, durable, and of high quality construction. Good shooting;)

Might I suggest that you consider using two single-mag carriers instead of one double-mag carrier? I found this to be more versatile and more comfortable as it allows the mags to flex better with your body.

SOE is a good maker. Don't like Blackhawk at all. Eagle is fair, too.

Dittto what dairycreek said.

Please feel free to check out the American made Bagmaster pistol magazine offerings out on our website at STRAIGHTSHOT SHOOTING (http://home.comcast.net/~ccwinstructor/mag_pouches_pistol.htm). We also carry rifle mag pouches (http://home.comcast.net/~ccwinstructor/mag_pouches_rifle.htm), along with many other items, as well.

SOE, London Bridge Outfitter, Eagle, and several other makers sold there have what you seek.
