I done the search here on Zanotti safes, but wanted to put out a feeler before ordering one myself.
For those who own one, what are your opinions? Anything bad to say about 'em?
I've been living with a cheapy Stack-on cabinet that is crammed full of toys, and I can't postpone the inevitable any longer.
best regards

I bought a Zanotti ZA-III and like it a lot. I highly recommend getting the taller version and the pistol drawers below the rifle racks. One advantage of the modular system is that you can build a safe in a space where the door is too small to pass the assembled unit, an additional measure of security.

Thx for the response. I haven't heard any bad reviews so far. If I get one, it will be the tall ZA-III, which I think is the biggest one they have.
I need to educate myself on the locking mechanism, especially the keypad. I think I prefer a standard dial or keyed lock.
Did you order from the factory, or thru a distributor?
thx

I ordered direct from the manufacturer. At the time they didn't have a distributor that I know of. I have a standard dial lock on mine.

I ordered my Zanotti direct from the distributor a couple years ago. It was nice to be able to disassemble it and move it by myself when I was an apartment-dweller but now that I have my own house, I'm planning on exchanging it for a "normal" safe. If you're going to keep the safe in the same place for long periods of time, don't bother with the Zanotti.
