You forgot the people who are not registered, do not plan to register yet plan to vote.

You also forgot the people who are dead and plan to vote.:p

of Illinois.

Missouri has the distinction? of being about the only state where the dead elected one of their own, Mel Carnahan.

Things hava habit of working out for the worst. If we would not have permitted dead people to vote then we would most likely have had a different AG.

If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny.

I also forgot people who are registered, plan to vote, and forgot... And people who forgot to plan to vote... and people who vote to forget... and people who forgot to forget to vote to register to forget to vote... and so proceed ad infinitum.

Until maybe 15 or 20 years ago, I only voted in the general elections. Now I vote in every single election, no matter how unimportant the offices may seem to be.

The person who wants to be on the school board is thinking that someday he/she will be superintendent. The person running for circuit court envisions himself on the state supreme court.

There's no such thing as an unimportant election.
