I need a holster for the 5 inch Kimber bp ten II I have on layaway. Must be sturdy, hang low, allow for easy access in and out of the truck and protect the muzzle from foriegn debris.

Not looking for a CCW holster but a ready access field holser.

Going to use this firearm when farting around bear country, out hunting/fishing and not going to carrying it cocked and locked.

I have found that the wider trigger gaurd makes it not fit in standard rigs.

Any LEOs use the bp ten II as a duty peice?

How about mag pouches, I am getting two formerly LEO only mags with it.

You might take a look at some of the thigh rigs made by Blackhawk or Eagle. Not sure if they have a closed bottom but they should fit the gun. Check out www.lightfighter.com for a bunch of different models. Worth a look.

I use a Bianchi UM-84 size 1 for my CZ 75B. It fits a variety of pistols and should fit yours. I have the thumb break on mine. I got it off ebay quite a while ago. I love it.
