Hi,
There is a Steyr M40 with 4 mags at gunbroker.com http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=7556530
It is currently at $310. Is this a good price?
Thanks.

Since it has 4 mags I'd say yes. If you're interested I'd just pay the Buy Now price of $350.
CDNN has them for $299 but thats with only 1 mag (which I have always felt is a ripoff since they left Steyr with 2) additional mags are $24.95 from them.
EDIT
I would make sure it has the updated trigger first

I second what Zundfolge stated. It's a decent price, but with 3 additional magazines, it beats the CDNN price.
You might want to ask the seller what the serial number range is. If it is prior to 007xxx (I vaguely remember that that is when they came out with the upgraded triggers), then it may, or may not, have the trigger upgrade installed. If it is after that range, then most likely it does.
If you get it and want a holster, I would recommend giving http://www.highnoonholsters.com/ a gander.

I am going to pass. The serial number is 0035xx. The seller said he does not know if it has the upgrade and that it has the "stock" trigger. I did not have time to give him the specifics on how to tell for sure if it has the upgrade.

Someone on TFL once posted pictures that differentiated between "old" and "new" triggers. It was easy to tell fom the position of the "circle" in the middle of the trigger... I would do a search over there.

Also, with that low a serial number there are other upgrades that definitely will not have been done. Such as the poly coating on the slide and the newer angle on the slide at the ejection port (to prevent getting hit beteween the eyes by an empty, ouch!!).

Note the position of the pin that holds the little trigger safety in place.
