Finally got an SKS back into my arsenal today. I picked up a Norinco SKS today from Ed's Gun Shop in Southern Pines, NC. Its in really good condition, but I still can't find out actual model numbers and such due to it being a Chinese. Walked out with it for 160 dollars, so I didn't do too bad. Going to clean it up tonight, and get it out for firing this week sometime. Sorry for the low quality pic, but my digital camera sucks.

This morning I saw an SKS identical to that one. The shop owner wanted $400 for it. I laughed at him and left quickly. Congrats on your new toy.

Walked out with it for 160 dollars, so I didn't do too bad. Not bad at all. The SKS is great fun. Enjoy it!

BTW: www.aimsurplus.com has some good deals on 7.62x39 ammo if you like buying by the case.
