Other than getting one custom made, who manufactures a holster for a Ruger 22/45 with 5.5" barrel? I'm not looking for anything fancy.

a kydex hoslter with a open bottom for a small frame glock (9mm or 40 )will work very well

Uncle Mikes makes cordura nylon holsters for your application. You could probably find one at your local Wal-mart for under 20 bucks. They also sell them off their website.
One of the Uncle Mikes holsters for revolvers will also work.

I've got an Uncle mikes Shoulder Rig for mine... it works great. Holds the gun at a vertical angle so it isn't real "tactical" but holds it nice and tight when out walking the woods/hunting.
