Has anyone replaced the high adjustable sights on a BHP Practical with fixed sights? Does someone make a rear fixed sight that will fit into the dovetail? And rather than go through the process of replacing the soldered front sight, then re-blueing, how about just filing the existing front sight down? Anyone have any experience with this?

I just looked at the Brownell's catalogue, and there appears to be 2 different sized dovetails, .280" for fixed and .375" for adjustable.

That makes sense, but it's a problem I hadn't considered. My plan is to leave the front sight on, and file it down to size, after finding a rear sight that will fit the dovetail.
