Magazine mystery

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but my own research has come up blank.
A local gun shop has a BSA Armatic .22 for sale, but it lacks a box magazine. I have searched, without success, for even one of these, but no one carries them. I've written to gun sellers in England, including the official source of BSA parts, but no luck. Since these guns were primarily British Empire, and those countries have mostly banned firearms...I'm guessing that a source may exist in Canada or New Zealand, but haven't found anything yet.

BSA is out of business. I haven't been able to get much info on the rifle, except that it is supposed to be a good shooter. I don't know how many were made, sometime in the Sixties.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Your rifle was introduced in 1962 according to the chronology page here. BSA makes air rifles now. Wouldn't hurt to e-mail them though. http://www.bsaguns.com/contact.asp
Try Elwood Epp's for a mag. They're up here. Big shop just north of Orillia, Ont. They may have one or know who else might. Don't phone on Saturday. It's a very busy place. They do have all kinds of odd stuff though.

Or this guy. Shows parts but does say what he has. http://www.jackfirstgun.com/catalog-atoc.html

Got a reply from an English dealer. He's got 'em. And he wants 35 Pounds for ONE.

I don't want the rifle THAT much.
