So...if you had to pick only ONE AR/M4 brand carbine, what would it be? (Let's say cost isn't TOO much of an object)

If I was going to buy a mass produced M4, it would be a Colt.
I own a Bushmaster M4, but if I had it to do over again, it would be a Colt.
In reality, I wouldn't buy any of them, but using your criteria, it would be a Colt.
I have built a half dozen AR15s from parts, but if I could only own one and price wasn't a big factor, I wouldn't build it.

LMT upper, Magpul stock, the rest isnt really important as long as it functions properly and is a quality set of parts.

An MSTN-built 16" upper on a Bushmaster lower with Magpul M93B stock. For the upper, either an LMT MRP or their LMT Recce package with a KAC URX II.

The one I'm building right now: 16" LMT upper, LCW lower w/RRA parts, and LMT stock. If this one proves to be a winner, I would keep this one if I were forced to only keep one.

Colt 6920 - Proofed bolt and barrel, magnafluxed, M4 feed ramps cut into receiver (not just barrel), etc.

I got a LMT 14.5" milspec upper today. It'll go on an Armalite lower with VLTOR modstock. Hopefully it will be as good as Colt with a smaller price tag.
