American Gun ( looks to be a pretty blatant Anti Gun Movie. So is it Propaganda or just a plot tool?

although i found one guy saying this in his review on

In total, this film is entertaining and thought provoking. Though the general conclusion of Jacobs is that guns are lose-lose, the film doesn't suffer because of this fact. As a member of the NRA and firm gun rights advocate, I thought I was going to be annoyed at this film. I wasn't. The end has Coburn not fighting against guns, nor advocating confiscation, but merely moving on with his life and family.

so it may not be intolerable. would be nice to see james coburn, in his last role.

Maybe you guys mean this movie?

Here is a synopsis I found:

"Gun's" cast of characters includes a Virginia gun shop owner and his college student granddaughter who is pressured to work at the family business; the single mother of a suburban high school assassin; a school principal at a violent inner-city high school; and an exemplary student concealing a handgun at school.

Looks like more trash from the antis.

Using the serial number of the .357 Magnum that killed his daughter, Martin traces his grief to its point of origin. from a movie review on line.

If he finds the suspect (that evil gun), he'd better tell the cops. What if it kills him, too?

Runaway Jury :cuss:

When a widow brings a civil suit against the corporate gun consortium she blames for her husband's murder, 'the firm' employs hard-nosed jury consultant Rankin Fitch (Gene Hackman) to secure a favourable verdict. Dustin Hoffman is prosecuting attorney Wendell Rohr, resolutely idealistic despite the large-scale corruption which threatens to steal his case.

This movie is going to be distributed by IFC, which picked up Moore's 9/11 garbage. It shouldn't come as that much of a surprise, but this one will do RKBA more direct damage: people will go see this one just because of the cast.
