I remember these a few years ago. They were $699 or so. German police trade ins I think. The new ones go $1200 plus.:(
I couldnt afford a Surplus one then, and I cant afford a new one now!:( Anyone else have this happen to them?
It seems like I will never get one of these things.:banghead:

I see folks selling surplus ones for a bit under a grand.
I'd pass.

I've seen the factory refurbished ones go for around $800. Just don't see as many of them as you used to.

The last refirb I saw went for $900+ :what: With the limited production & the increasing talk of the discontinuing of te P7-lineup, I'd say now a days the deal is...to find one!

Keep looking, you can still find deals on P7s if you're lucky. You just have to keep your eyes open and have the cash on hand.
Don't give up.

When the refurbished P7M8s first showed up I got one for $650. I later sold it. Now that the prices are up I wish I had kept it because I obviously can not easily replace it for $650.
But, deals are out there. I recently purchased an as-new P7-PSP for $600. I actually like the PSP better than the M8.

They had some of these at www.kyimports.com a few months ago.
Might be worth making a call.
Hang out over at www.parkcitiestactical.com for a while as well. Their "Cult of the P7" forum might have a few ideas about where to look.

How can you tell a refurb from a non-refurb? Do all refurbs have the mill mark on the right side of the slide?

Refurbs have the mill-mark on the right slide. It looks exactly like what you'd find if you took a 1/2" grinding wheel to the slide of your pistol. No way to miss this mark.
The good thing about refurbs is that they have been completely factory refurbed/refinished -AND they probably have been fired just a few times by the police Depts. they were originially issued to.
You can also get the mill mark removed by hard chroming companies catering to P7 owners.
