If someone were to buy you a handgun?

Which one would you pick? I don't really mean just the most expensive one out there, just one that you want but can't seem to see paying the price out of your own pocket.
Post a pic or a link. Here is mine:

My actual gift guns have been a Baby Eagle 9mm and a customized Super Blackhawk from my son, and a Bisley .44 Magnum and a 50th Anniversary Ruger Standard form my wife.
My son is very understanding of the compulsive trader syndrome, and actually I traded both of those back to him! He no longer has either.
The guns I received from my wife will be staying with me.

An HK P7M13. I have wanted one since the mid 80s, but some other weapon always seems more obtainable and draining the funds for that purchase. Maybe if the mag ban dies. . . .:D

Can't do it. It's called a strw purchase. It's illegal.

That's easy; a CZ-97!

It's only a straw purchase if you're buying it for someone who can't legally buy it for themselves because of past, shall we say, difficulties. Otherwise, it's called a "gift," or a "present."

I would like a Kimber Pro Carry. Just the basic flat black model. Nothing fancy. I am also in need of a Glock 30, but beyond those two, I pretty much have all the guns I like (that is legal).

An original issue Walker Colt. About as much chance as Delmar has of someone buying me one, figured I might want to aim high

A three inch S&W revo, in .357, .44 Spec., or .44 Mag. Preferably without the trigger lock, but who's gonna get picky if someone else is paying the freight.;)
What I really, really want (at the moment), is (in no order) :
A M27, blue, 4 inch
A M696 three inch
A M29, blue, 3-4 inch
If someone else bought it (how's this for compromise, rationalization, and prevarication), I'd also take one of those short barreled .500 S&W Magnums.:scrutiny:

I'd have to be dreaming...especially being by my lonesome. I did recieve a rifle in the '70's --gift from gunsmith.
Ok, I've always wanted a Singer made Gov't model 1911. I'd settle for a old pre '70's GM. Heck since this is a 'dream anyway' I'd take a 1911 made by my gunsmith, Mil-Spec, as close to the aforementioned with a crisp 4# trigger. I do like his Pro Carry, used it for a few days...in a new pc I'd opt for that.

I would not turn down a 3" 686 or 41 mag mountain gun.

Easy; a Freedom Arms Model 97 in .45 Colt with the extra .45 ACP cylinder. Or, the same gun in either .22 or .44 Special.

Being CA, I'm slightly limited. But I'd love a HK w/ a threaded barrel...SOCOM or Tactical. Outside of that another P7M8 would be nice too

I've come this -><- close to buying one on more than one occasion, but have never managed to talk myself into shelling out the long green for a nicely-built copy of a 1930s French design.
I wouldn't kick one out of my gun collection, though, and they do shoot nicely...

As a courtesy to my benefactor, I respectfully suggest that she select from the following short list:
1. Browning Medalist, LNIB, not too much engraving.
2. Springfield Armory FBI style Gov't Model
3. Automag .44 Magnum, a la Dirty Harry, but with short barrel
4. Colt Python in VG condition, from the "good old days".
5. P7M8 in VG condition
6. MP5 (if rules permit - it CAN be fired one-handed!)
Yes, I'm from Kalifornia, and some of these aren't 'acceptable' here; screwem.

a S&W model 642. It is the gun on the top of my list. Seeing how it is a little less expensive then a lot of other choices posted here, you could always add a Barimi hip grip with a Tyler T. Boy, would I be happy. :)

Jimbo,
I'm pretty sure there were only 2 .45 acp Lugers made. They were made for testing by the U.S. Military and were put through all kinds of toture tests. The location of the Luger .45 stamped #1 has not been found. The location of the #2 is known, though I forget where it is.
I'm pretty sure that this is what I remember from "Tales of the Gun" on the History channel.
I'm also going to steal your idea. ;) I want the .45 acp Luger #1 that's in perfect original condition that was left in a vat of cosmoline in a warehouse. :) :) :)
