Slugs and Chokes

I have a Stoeger coach gun, and I'm wondering if it's safe to shoot slugs through it. The barrels are stamped '+++' and '++++', which I think indicate Modified and Full chokes - are these too tight to safely use with slugs?

Yes, they are too tight. It likely won't hurt the gun at all, bu accuracy will be terrible.

You don't want to shoot slugs thru full ckokes. I believe most ammo manufacturers even say so on the box, if memory serves me correctly.
