My experience near Sacramento yesterday at the Yolo Sportmans Association reminded me how much I hate my liberal city in the Bay Area and LOVE the relative freedom and space of the more rural parts of the world - as well as the people that come with it.

I was given hope that there is a more happy future for me - somewhere. I just need to get a lot of money to buy some land.

Anyhow, what parts of the world have you found are the most friendly? I'm mostly interested in "1st world" locations, but also other exotic options.
