I just purchased Hi-Vis sights for my Browning Buckmark Camper.
I removed the old sight by simply taking out the screw that holds it in place.
There is a metal peg that is on the top of the barrel that fits into a small hole on the original sight. The Hi-Vis sight has no hole. Therefore the "peg" keeps the new sight from mounting flush with the barrel.:cuss:
The sight said that it was made for this gun (as well as the Rugar).
Do I need to remove that "peg" from the barrel?
Do I need to drill a hole in the new sight?
Is the sight defective?
I Emailed Hi-Vis last week but they never responded. I thought maybe one of you guys might know.
Thanks!
