Anyone tried the newer #40L vs. the standard #40?

I'm trying to decide if it's worth buying the:

A.R.M.S.® #36 Ex OSR Swan® Sleeve

and the

A.R.M.S.® #40L Low Profile Rear Sight

or just getting one piece w/ the standard #40:

A.R.M.S.® #38 Ex Swan® Sleeve w/ #40 rear flip up sight built on

Also, what's the best price you have seen on a Aimpoint CompM2 ?
