About a year ago I sold my Dan Wesson 357 to my cousin so I could by a
Springfield 1911.
I've been kicking myself in the butt ever since, It was the only thing I used for deer hunting for 15 years. And I was real good with it.
Today my cousin came down (he lives about a 1/2 mile north of me)to talk
cars& bikes. I asked him if he knew anyone who needed a Mossberg 500
12 ga.
We ended up trading guns as he needed a shotgun for his wife(deer season is coming soon).
I cleaned it,lubed it, and told it it was home to stay:p
Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to have it back.

I felt the same way when I bought back my SKS I had traded for a guitar. The guy had for about 6 years and I was happy to bring it back into the family.

Good for you.

I don't miss my first handgun. Not that it was bad or there was anything wrong with it. I have just discovered others that i like better.

I took it out today after work, shocked my Boss, it still kills clay pidgens at 70 yards.
I'm now ready for deer season:evil:
