Is a Savage Mark 1 GY youth rifle trigger adjustable? I just bought this rifle for my daughter and found what I believe to be an adjustment feature on the trigger.
There is a long hex set screw just in front of the trigger as part of the trigger group. This screw has a locking nut attached and looks like it has been set in place by the use of some type of a blue colored epoxy at the factory.
The manual and picture of this rifle's exploded view in the manual do not show or mention this adjusting screw. I'm wondering if this adjustment featuer is something very new and I got a left over older manual with the gun.
I know I could just play around with the screw and figure out for myself what it does or is for, but thought I'd ask here first to see if anyone knew for sure.
