Hi all, Check out my new (to me) Yugo SKS, I got it from AIM Surplus and just got it all cleaned up and back together over the weekend. Still haven't had the opportunity to shot her yet....need to find somewhere to do that as most of the ranges up here only allow handgun caliber rifles...and this is definitely NOT.....
Here's some pics if you are interested.....

Great looking SKS. I'm actually very close to 'pulling the trigger', so to speak...which grade is that one?

I got one from AIM also. That is an interesting feature, the pin thru the stock above the trigger housing and below the receiver. I have never noticed that on an SKS. Perhaps it is a repair to the stock [?]

You should be proud of your son for having deployed that bayonet! :p

Bainx,

That crossbolt through the grip is common on Russian refurbs, but I've never seen it on a Yugo. Supposedly the Russian hardwood stocks would sometimes crack in that area.

Since this was my first C&R purchase to test the waters so to speak I went with the shooters grade. Figured I had nuthin to lose droppin 79 bucks...I am very pleased so far....Have not shot her yet tho..hopein to do that this weekend....Go for it....Enjoy....be safe.....mack
Here's a good site for assistance with many of the C&R type rifles....
